Interview questions:
In NFL Superstar mode, make sure to choose your answers to interview questions wisely. The answers will affect your personality type and most endorsement companies want a player with a more conservative personality type, such as "Team Leader" or "Professional".

Agents in NFL Superstar mode:
The agents you get are based on the talent of your player. For example, if your player's overall rating is at least 84, you will get Dan Baker as an agent. The interview after the mentor meeting determines some stat boosts to important stats for your player's position.

Better IQ in NFL Superstar mode:
If your IQ test results are low, save the game before the IQ day and try it over again until your percentage is high.

Punting:
Since the punt blockers do not block very much, it is better if you select the "Punt Block" formation instead of any other punt return formation. With the "Punt Block" formation, the punting team will not be spread out, therefore allowing your blockers to somewhat block for you; which in turn will give you more time to field the ball and have a little space to start something big.

Sign created player with high attributes for three years:
When creating a player, make him a free agent. Then, get his attributes up to 75 and sign the player for any team desired. Go to that team's rosters and edit his attributes; you can make it as high as 99. When you go to Franchise mode with the team the player you created is on he will have a contract for three years.

Switching teams in NFL Superstar mode:
Once you become a key player to a team, you can upgrade to a much better agent. Then, after two seasons you can resign with almost any team you desire.

Touchdown celebrations:
Play as the Eagles against the Ravens and score a touchdown with T.O. by diving in the endzone. He will do a Ray Lewis dance in the endzone as a celebration.

Wrong Antonio Gates stats:
Look in the Antonio Gates Player Information screen. It will show his receptions, rec yards, etc; however they show that Gates had 0 TDs. Gates set the record for TDs by a Tight End with 13.

Wrong Deuce McCallister stats:
While your game is loading you will see a player and their 2004 stats while you are waiting. When you see Deuce McCallister, it shows that he had 1600+ yards rushing; however Deuce only had 1074 yards rushing in 2004.

Mansion in NFL Superstar mode:
Win the Super Bowl twice and get into the Pro Bowl each time to get a mansion.

More control in draft in NFL Superstar mode:
Save the game before the draft. If you do not like the team that drafted you, reload your saved game and try it over again until you are drafted by a desired team.

Movie line mistake:
When you get the movie deal for Muligan O'malley, in the last scene your line says something then "Mt. Dortiz"; however the correct answer is "Ms. Dortiz".

New apartment in NFL Superstar mode:
If you win a Super Bowl and are inducted to the Pro Bowl, you will move into a new apartment.

Die Fussballsimulation von EA Sports kommt auch in diesem Jahr mit leicht verändertem Gameplay daher. Wir haben ein paar Tipps für euch, wie ihr die gegnerischen Mannschaften leichter besiegen könnt:


Flankenläufe stellen eine gute Variante dar, wenn ihr die hohe, gut getimte Bälle in den Strafraum spielt. Optimalerweise spielt ihr den Ball zwischen den 5-Meter-Raum und dem Elfmeterpunkt. Ein gut plazierter Kopfball in die lange Ecke und schon klingelt es im gegnerischen Kasten!

Die Torhüter bewegen sich behäbig auf euch zu bei einem Alleingang. Nutzt vor allem die kurze Ecke, um zum Torerfolg zu kommen. In den seltenen Fällen, bei denen euch der Torhüter bereits früher den Winkel verkürzt, könnt ihr sie auch mit einem Lupfer bezwingen.

Schüsse von der Strafraumecke landen oftmals am Pfosten oder werden auch von Top-Torhütern nur abgeklatscht. Nutzt diese Möglichkeit, um mit einem schnellen Mittelstürmer locker einzunetzen.

Bei Eckbällen könnte ihr die Schwäche des Torwarts bei hohen Bällen perfekt ausnutzen. Spielt den Ball auf die vordere Ecke des 5-Meter-Raums und köpft in die kurze Ecke, um zum Torerfolg zu kommen.

Um das lästige Mittelfeldgeplänkel in den leichteren Schwierigkeitsgraden zu umgehen, schlagt ihr den Ball lang auf eure Stürmer. Achtet dabei auf den Radar am unteren Bildschirmrand, der euch optimal zeigt, wann die Offensivspieler mit einem langen Pass bedient werden können.

Bei den Zweikämpfen empfiehlt es sich, Grätschen nur von vorne anzubringen, um keine unnützen Karten zu kassieren: Aufgrund der meist langsamen Geschwindigkeit reicht aber ein einfaches Tackling mit dem -Button vollkommen aus.

Je schneller ihr mit einem Spieler lauft, um so weniger Ballkontrolle habt ihr. Eine gesunde Mischung aus kurzem Antritt und normalem Lauftempo ist optimal, um am Gegenspieler vorbeizudribbeln. Je mehr ihr mit dem rechten Trigger sprintet, um so grösser ist die Gefahr, dass eure Fitness-Werte komplett erschöpft sind. Lauft dann eine Weile mit normalem Speed, damit sich der Spieler wieder erholen kann.

In der Defensive könnt ihr einen zusätzlichen Spieler zu euch rufen. Mit der entsprechenden Taste greift ihr den ballführenden Spieler dann mit zwei Spielern an. Achtet aber darauf, dass der zweite Spieler nicht zu weit entfernt steht, da er zur Zweikampfsituation nur müde trabt. Eventuell ist es dann bereits zu spät, wenn er eintrifft.
