sah gestern noch alles danach aus das man den messiah endlich ausliefern würde kommt heute der nächste knaller.

auf der messiah wie auch auf der neo 4 page ist alles geändert worden. wie es scheint hat sony da wohl mal dazwischen gehauen.

SONY SOLICITORS CLAIM BREACH OF COPYRIGHT LAW WITH MESSIAH

Channel Technology is taking legal advice, and assessing the claims by Sony solicitor's that the Messiah design breaches section 296 of the Copyright's, Design's and Patents law in the UK.

Once legal advice has been gained, Channel Technology will make an announcement regarding its position and views to the matter.

kein tag ohne neue news. diesmal leider wieder andersrum.

Wie es aussieht wird Channeltech dieses Jahr ihren Chip nicht mehr ausliefern da im Moment geprüft wird ob der Messiah wie der Neo 4 auch Teile des Bios der PS2 benutzt was Illegal wäre , allen Vorbestellern raten wir sich wenn sie mit einem Wechsel Leben können entweder den Neo 2.2 oder falls auch DVDR´S und Importe gespielt werden sollen den Origa einbauen zu lassen da das ganze sich wohl doch noch eine Weile hinziehen wird !
Wir bedauern Ihnen leider keinen Alternativen No Swap anbieten zu können wir versichern ihnen das Wir das ganze jetzt selber in die Hand nehmen werden da es wie man sieht wenn man sich auf Fremdfirmen verlassen muss ist man verlassen !

also momentan siehts doch eher so aus das alles direct bootchips
erstmal auf eis gelegt sind bis sich geklärt hat was genau sony
durchbekommt und was nicht.das gilt für neo4,origa2.0 und messiah.

harry von gametop schreibt außerdem im board noch das der messiah nicht ins bios eingreift und somit legal ist. und das ct
die ganze sache nur nutzt um ihre eigene momentane liefer unfähigkeit zu vertuschen. also das es ein reines ct internes prob sei warum der chip wohl nun doch nicht geliefert wird.

ich für meinen teil schließe das thema erstmal für mich ab.
mein neo2.2 bootet alles was ich habe und somit mach ich mir keinen kopf mehr bis irgendwan mal so ein teil raus ist.
solangsam hat man uns genug an der nase rumgeführt wenn man bedenkt das die erste veröffendlichung des messiah schon für den 1.11 angekündigt war.
