  • @ hmily158:
Are you somehow affiliated with the owner(s) of topsevenreviews(dot)com or are you one of them? I'm wondering why you do so much promotion for this website. It looks kinda suspicious to me that the contact information given there consists of nothing but a gmail-address—no names, no street, no city, no country, no phone. What about any “Terms and Conditions” or other legal matter? Nothing. That’s not what I would regard as sufficient or trustworthy information to do any business with them or to give them my credit card data for billing; at least it has to be called unprofessional. I would like to know who I’m doing business with and who I’m providing with sensitive information.

Nothing against your tutorial—if you actually wrote it. But search engines prompt a lot of entries with that same tutorial, the same pictures, and even the same spelling mistakes. So it looks like a “copy-and-paste” job to me. Also your nick can be found several times along with this “How to …”. Who is behind the other nicks, I don’t know yet. It might be you, it might be not. But it is mostly a newbie posting. However, the above mentioned domain almost always accompanies postings of the tutorial and provides links to products at topsevenreviews. Coincidence?!

    So, what’s the deal?
I can't help it, but I’m getting the impression that you’re trying to push either a buddy’s or your own business by posting and pushing that tutorial all over the internet in several boards and forums. And to me this smells like SPAM, at least.

  • CentCom does have a point there, hmily158!
And not only your tutorial contains wrong spelling and grammar, but also the website lacks a certain writing standard.

I'm afraid you didn't only copy&pasted the tutorial, but also promoted another website/board, which is not allowed throughout this board.

We do appreciate every tutorial, BUT it should be written by the person publishing it and not a simple copy&paste job.
  • took the links out. if you want them back in (in case you still visit us), just hit me with a PM explaining the affiliation with that site and maybe a prove that you are the original author.
